Egremni beach

Egremni beach (Greek: Εγκρεμνή or Εγκρεμνοί) is located in the south-west part of Lefkada Island, about 30 km of Lefkada Town, the capital of the island. It is considered as one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and in Mediterranean as well. This beach is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Greece and in Europe as a whole. It is famous for remarkably blue and clear waters and long sandy beach. Egremni beach is of the longest beaches on Lefkada, stretching for more than 2.5 km. Similar to Porto Katsiki beach, Egremni is surrounded by cliffs and as a consequence, not so easy accessible. The nearest village is Athani village, located a few kilometers in the north.
